Rodeway Inn San Clemente Beach

The bed is great! Huge and comfortable! The hotel was quiet and peaceful, the room on the ground floor and the car could be placed right in front of the door. There was an ice machine just around the corner. Bathroom - large, clean, with a hair dryer and soap. A set of towels. Nice and soft floor covering. The room was very nice overall.

Breakfast could be improved by just having buns, jam, oatmeal in packs, cream cheese and coffee. Other guests asked for milk to be added to the porridge - there were no apples or bananas. Except for breakfast, there were no other claims. The staff was friendly and friendly.

Great location for our trip. A great selection of goodies for breakfast. Public parking nearby provided.

Terrible check-in process. Staff difficult to understand, and extremely difficult to work with--making it a very unpleasant experience.

Perfect getaway for solo travelers

I found the staff really accommodating, they saved a room for me after my reservation didn't go through. The room was spacious and had a nice microwave and fridge.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable given the amenities.

The hotel staff is awesome and polite.

We didn't have time, so we also will come back. Hopefully the room was huge with balcony, bathroom. The hotel had an unbeatable location minutes away from a performing arts theater...

Breakfast was boring and the lock on my door was broke.

For a short or even longer stay in San Clemente, the Rodeway Inn is great! it's relatively cheap compared to other hotels. Parking is free of charge directly at the hotel. the location is on the main street and you can reach the beach and downtown within 15 minutes on foot. the rooms are large and clean. The rooms are equipped with a fridge, microwave and a big TV. Despite the main street the rooms are quiet and the staff is very nice. The receptionist Malu is very friendly and nice. Breakfast is continental. Juice in packets, bagels for toasters, jam and cream cheese. Sweet pastries and muesli bars are also available, as well as coffee. We are here for the second time and find the hotel very good and will definitely come here for the next holidays.

Peanut butter at breakfast is missing.

Great location near the ocean and just off the freeway yet quiet. Property management couple gave specific directions and additional info on my room (mini frig and microwave) when I called plus put me in a quiet room, which I requested. Very friendly and helpful.

Location, WiFi and value for your money

Pillows, not enough towels , no milk

I only spent one night here. The hotel was not hard to find. Was lucky to park in the parking lot area. There are lots of things to do within walking distance. My room was clean and, despite reviews about traffic noise, my room was not noisy at all.

No breakfast to be found, no coffee, room was...eh.....nothing to write about really. Bare minimum, wouldn't stay there again.

Parking was horrible, not enough spaces for the hotel size. We ended up parking out on the street. No breakfast or coffee to be found @ 8:00, then just as we were leaving, we saw they were putting out oatmeal.....

The location is a major highlight, just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The staff, particularly Lois, were friendly and helpful, providing great dining recommendations. Room cleanliness stood out, with daily tidy-ups and a surprisingly spacious layout. Parking was convenient, and the area felt safe for evening strolls.
